Artist's Comments

Lousy title, but I don't care. On to more important issues:
As much as I enjoy making stamps, all they really are is a sentence on a 99 x 56 square. It takes like a minute to slap one together, and yet it'll get 100+ faves & comments.
Meanwhile I stay up all night on a drawing, trying to get the right angle, shading, coloring, etc. & I'll be lucky if it gets half as many faves & comments!
WHAT'S WITH YOU PEOPLE!?!? This is very frustrating for me! Why should I even bother drawing if nobody cares & all they want are more stamps that they probably won't or can't use?

There's really no need. Everybody else has already made every stamp imaginable, if not then they're making more as we speak.

This happens to me, I created only 5 stamps but they get popular especially this Asperger's imagination stamp [link]

This may increased my pageviews but creating stamps are not trully my sort of deviation.

The AS stamp has 30+ comments but the main deviation have about 3 and sometimes more than 6 especially robots doing domestic activities.

I'm going to use thi stamp

i feel a little bad for commenting on this stamp, then, but i hope you understand that it did pose a question.

stamps usually display either an opinion or an identity that people can agree with and relate to. that's why they're so popular. humans are honestly quite egotistical. Usually it's silly comments like "yeah!" or "i agree" or something along those lines. and i bet the faves are there for lack of a shoutbox to slap it on.

i've encountered a similar problem with people faving and commenting on my OLD DP fanart from years ago but nothing on my new (better quality!!) stuff. :|

But it's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then. :D

LOL I know how you feel about the old DP fanart. I'm like "WTF!? I drew that years ago & I did such a lousy job on it!"

YES. THANK YOU.

This may sound kinda selfish, but I really don't like it when my stamps get more credit than my work, since stamps really don't take that much effort to make; meanwhile I can spend hours on an original art piece and no one will pay it any attention unless I'm stating an opinion. My "Whatever I Want" stamp already probably has more favorites than my entire gallery combined.

Don't get me wrong, I like it when my opinions are heard, but still...
